Be Encouraged, Pastor! – August 23, 2026

Deuteronomy 33:27 ESV

The eternal God is your dwelling place (refuge), and underneath are the everlasting arms. And he thrust out the enemy before you and said, ‘Destroy.’

Let God's strong arms carry you across whatever obstacles are in your path.

Be Encouraged, Pastor!

Reading this morning and being reminded of the message that Luke proclaimed in the very beginning of his gospel. He said he was writing the gospel “that you may have certainty concerning the things that you have been taught.”

I wonder sometimes how much certainty we tie to our faith? Or in our humanity, do we simply replace certainty with hope!

Hebrews says Faith is being sure of what we hope for, certain of what we cannot see!

Today, for the people we serve, our family, and our own hearts may we walk in that certainty!

The (2014) PCN website was dedicated to the memory of Rev. G. David Korsen, who gave of his expertise, time and passion to create the first PCN website. He served as Communications Director from March of 2009 until his graduation from this life on April 23, 2013. Dave’s caring heart and infectious laugh were the entry to the deep well of God’s grace that flowed through him — the essence of PastorCare.
