"...for apart from me you can do nothing."  Today and this week let’s lean on Jesus to accomplish what is to be done in His name!

“Jesus called them together and said, ‘You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles Lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.’” – Mark‬ ‭10‬:‭42‬-‭45‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.  -- James 5:16 ESV

1 Thessalonians 1:2-4 ESV  “2 We give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly mentioning you in our prayers, 3 remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. 4 For we know, brothers loved by God, that he has chosen you, ... ” What would your life be like if you viewed people from this perspective?

Romans 8:31-39 1. God is for us! 2. Jesus died for us! 3. We are justified! 4. Jesus lives for us! 5. Go holds us! 6. We are overcomers!

“Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Additional thoughts on Acts 16:16-17 where seeking the will of God means accepting times when He says ‘no’. Those times may feel difficult or beyond what we can see, but we must know we can trust Him!

Micah 6:6-8. Nothing matters except what God has told us to do to maintain a good relationship with Him. This is to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with Him and all is well. This is our only mission today. Enjoy your walk today! Also, this morning the reminder is to bless your wife for she is a gift from God. A large percentage of pastor’s wives are quietly serving and many are struggling, at times not even sharing with you! 

John 1:5. "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." Be encouraged, Pastor! "Praise The LORD! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens.  Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness!"
