Be Encouraged, Pastor! – August 30, 2026

Psalm 18:2-3 ESV

2 The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. 3 I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.

In a world of change, our faith is built on solid bedrock! This is really good news! Think on this, and give thanks to God Almighty!

Be Encouraged, Pastor!

This week, ministry has taken me about 1800 miles in travel and to multiple states through technology. It reminds me that the kingdom is "to the uttermost parts of the world," as well as our local Jerusalem.

Wherever you are this morning, know you aren’t in this alone! Nor are the battles and decisions you have to make uniquely yours.

Just know, "and lo, I Am with you to the end of the age/world!"

Be faithful, even in the "uttermost parts" of Texas or Arkansas or Oklahoma or Missouri!

PastorCare never charges a fee for services. It is a purely faith-based, non-profit 501©3 ministry. PastorCare is supported by donations, gifts and a volunteer network of caregivers and service providers. Retired pastors, missionaries and volunteer lay-persons encourage and assist pastors and their families who contact PastorCare. Our goal is to meet the need and revitalize God’s ministering servants to continue the call to serve.

The (2014) PCN website was dedicated to the memory of Rev. G. David Korsen, who gave of his expertise, time and passion to create the first PCN website. He served as Communications Director from March of 2009 until his graduation from this life on April 23, 2013. Dave’s caring heart and infectious laugh were the entry to the deep well of God’s grace that flowed through him — the essence of PastorCare.
