Be Encouraged, Pastor! - March 8, 2026

“Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”

– ‭‭Mark‬ ‭11‬:‭23‬-‭25‬ ‭NIV‬‬

I can get in the way of my own prayers by how I treat people.  Keep accounts with people current.  Forgive quickly as needed.  After all, that is what Jesus did for you!

Be Encouraged, Pastor!

In Malachi chapter 1, God said, I have loved you, and the most horrible response that one could have is what the children of Israel said.

How have you loved us?

How do the recipients of God‘s eternal, complete, and sustaining love get to the place that they don’t recognize it and even challenge him when he says so!

May we begin our Sunday responding to him when he tells us he has loved us, with worship and praise and Thanksgiving and not a question mark!

PastorCare never charges a fee for services. It is a purely faith-based, non-profit 501©3 ministry. PastorCare is supported by donations, gifts and a volunteer network of caregivers and service providers. Retired pastors, missionaries and volunteer lay-persons encourage and assist pastors and their families who contact PastorCare. Our goal is to meet the need and revitalize God’s ministering servants to continue the call to serve.

The (2014) PCN website was dedicated to the memory of Rev. G. David Korsen, who gave of his expertise, time and passion to create the first PCN website. He served as Communications Director from March of 2009 until his graduation from this life on April 23, 2013. Dave’s caring heart and infectious laugh were the entry to the deep well of God’s grace that flowed through him — the essence of PastorCare.
