Be Encouraged, Pastor! - February 8, 2026

“My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body. Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips. Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭4‬:‭20‬-‭27‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Keep me focused on You, Lord! Keep my heart tuned to Your heart as I walk the path of steadfastness that You, Lord, have laid out for me as I follow your Word and its instruction.

Be Encouraged, Pastor!

Zeph. 3 makes great God statements to his people.

Wait for Me!

I will change the speech of the people!

I will leave in your midst a people humble and lowly!

They shall seek refuge in my name!

I will sing over you with loud singing!

I will gather you together!

Not my sermon for today, but sure would be my prayer for this morning’s gathering time!

May He show out Himself today in your church, ministry, and life!

The (2014) PCN website was dedicated to the memory of Rev. G. David Korsen, who gave of his expertise, time and passion to create the first PCN website. He served as Communications Director from March of 2009 until his graduation from this life on April 23, 2013. Dave’s caring heart and infectious laugh were the entry to the deep well of God’s grace that flowed through him — the essence of PastorCare.
