Be Encouraged, Pastor! - January 25, 2026

“Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Do not add to his words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar. “Two things I ask of you, Lord; do not refuse me before I die: Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, ‘Who is the Lord?’ Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭30‬:‭5‬-‭9‬ ‭NIV‬‬

I desire to operate daily with you. "Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread." I desire to know, live in, and give away the truth. You are my provision and cornerstone.

Be Encouraged, Pastor!

As many of us are waking up to a bad winter weather this morning, we’re dealing with the changes that are mandated by it!

My prayer for you, my friend is that you stay safe and warm.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 says to everything there is a season, and it doesn’t state it, but there is a snow and ice season!

Reminding you this morning, the scripture say to be instant in season and out of season, so may we make the most of Jesus today in whatever format that is available to us during this season!

PastorCare never charges a fee for services. It is a purely faith-based, non-profit 501©3 ministry. PastorCare is supported by donations, gifts and a volunteer network of caregivers and service providers. Retired pastors, missionaries and volunteer lay-persons encourage and assist pastors and their families who contact PastorCare. Our goal is to meet the need and revitalize God’s ministering servants to continue the call to serve.

The (2014) PCN website was dedicated to the memory of Rev. G. David Korsen, who gave of his expertise, time and passion to create the first PCN website. He served as Communications Director from March of 2009 until his graduation from this life on April 23, 2013. Dave’s caring heart and infectious laugh were the entry to the deep well of God’s grace that flowed through him — the essence of PastorCare.
