Be Encouraged, Pastor! - August 17, 2025

17 For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. (Galatians 5:17-18 ESV)

In Christ Jesus I am led by the Spirit and as such oppose all things of the flesh which come against the Spirit. I desire to walk in the ways of Christ and be led by Your Holy Spirit, Lord. Help me today to sort out, identify and come to grips with my fleshly ways clamoring to get their way and seeking to keep me from walking and growing according to Your Spirit in Jesus’ name.  Amen.

Be Encouraged, Pastor!

Acts 8 -  “Understandest thou what thou readest?  How can I except some man guide me?”

This morning we will all find those seeking to understand. They may be waiting for someone to chase their chariot and seek their company!

“Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same Scripture, and preached to him Jesus!”

Have a blessed day, chase and proclaim well!

PastorCare never charges a fee for services. It is a purely faith-based, non-profit 501©3 ministry. PastorCare is supported by donations, gifts and a volunteer network of caregivers and service providers. Retired pastors, missionaries and volunteer lay-persons encourage and assist pastors and their families who contact PastorCare. Our goal is to meet the need and revitalize God’s ministering servants to continue the call to serve.

The (2014) PCN website was dedicated to the memory of Rev. G. David Korsen, who gave of his expertise, time and passion to create the first PCN website. He served as Communications Director from March of 2009 until his graduation from this life on April 23, 2013. Dave’s caring heart and infectious laugh were the entry to the deep well of God’s grace that flowed through him — the essence of PastorCare.
