Be Encouraged, Pastor! - July 20, 2025

Psalm 148:1-10 KJV [1] Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: Praise him in the heights. [2] Praise ye him, all his angels: Praise ye him, all his hosts. [3] Praise ye him, sun and moon: Praise him, all ye stars of light. [4] Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, And ye waters that be above the heavens. [5] Let them praise the name of the LORD: For he commanded, and they were created. [6] He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: He hath made a decree which shall not pass. [7] Praise the LORD from the earth, Ye dragons, and all deeps: [8] Fire, and hail; snow, and vapours; Stormy wind fulfilling his word: [9] Mountains, and all hills; Fruitful trees, and all cedars: [10] Beasts, and all cattle; Creeping things, and flying fowl:

Psalm 150:1-6 KJV [1] Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: Praise him in the firmament of his power. [2] Praise him for his mighty acts: Praise him according to his excellent greatness. [3] Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: Praise him with the psaltery and harp. [4] Praise him with the timbrel and dance: Praise him with stringed instruments and organs. [5] Praise him upon the loud cymbals: Praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. [6] Let everything that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

The antidote to all our issues is Praising the Lord! As we read and proclaim Psalm 148 and 150, let's loudly rejoice and Praise the Lord!!!!

“Then once more, you shall see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked. Then once more you shall see the distinction between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him.”

Malachi 3:18

This morning on the first day of the week, the challenge is not to preach that, but to live that! I cannot expect those that I lead to be more distinctive than I am! May we look like the One we served today!

Lead, live, and serve distinctively !!!  Peace, health, favor, and friends, give them the One they need!

The (2014) PCN website was dedicated to the memory of Rev. G. David Korsen, who gave of his expertise, time and passion to create the first PCN website. He served as Communications Director from March of 2009 until his graduation from this life on April 23, 2013. Dave’s caring heart and infectious laugh were the entry to the deep well of God’s grace that flowed through him — the essence of PastorCare.
