Be Encouraged, Pastor! - July 13, 2025

““Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”” ‭‭Mark‬ ‭11‬:‭22‬-‭25‬ ‭NIV‬‬

"...that does not doubt in their hearts but believes..." What an insight into what faith is! Now put that faith in action in prayer in asking, believing and forgiving others as you have been forgiven. Why hold onto a grudge or hurt when you can release it for more of God's work in your life.

What a day that will be!  When my Jesus I shall see!

Heard this from one of the guys at our preaching conference yesterday, ‘the reason we don’t think about heaven is because we have it so good here.’

There are issues and difficulties that we face, but are our earthly lives desperately dependent on the promise of glory?

Preach today, serve today, live today, looking forward to going home, and not simply living comfortably in our homes.

The (2014) PCN website was dedicated to the memory of Rev. G. David Korsen, who gave of his expertise, time and passion to create the first PCN website. He served as Communications Director from March of 2009 until his graduation from this life on April 23, 2013. Dave’s caring heart and infectious laugh were the entry to the deep well of God’s grace that flowed through him — the essence of PastorCare.
