Be Encouraged, Pastor! - June 8, 2025
Psalm 121 - My help comes from the Lord. I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? 2 My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. 3 He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. 4 Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand. 6 The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. 8 The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.
David's perspective is a perspective we could use as we look at our circumstances in our life. Who do we look to first? The best place is to see how God has already provided for us and to look to Him. God is to be our focus. Nothing else matters. I encourage you to read Psalm 121 today as you start your day and take that perspective with you all day long. Maybe even into tomorrow and the next day. Have a great day in the Lord!

The ministry’s mission statement can be found in 2nd Corinthians 9: 10 - 15. In it there are three participants.
God - the one who gives the seed.
Those who do the ministry - the ones who cultivate and prepare the harvest
Those who receive the blessings of the ministry - our network of pastors and their families, and their churches.
This morning, the principle applies to you. God gives you what you need, your job is to do with it what He expects, and those you serve will receive the blessings.
The last verse there says this, “thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!”
That beloved, is the goal of what you should do and is the heart of the Lonestar Pastor Care Network!
Have a super blessed day!
