Be Encouraged, Pastor! - June 1, 2025

But Daniel resolved that he would not defile himself with the king's food or the wine he drank. Therefore he asked the chief of the eunuchs to allow him not to defile himself. And God gave Daniel favor and compassion in the sight of the chief of the eunuchs.” – Daniel 1:8-9

Our culture constantly bombards us with choices that conflict with our faith. As we faithfully serve the Lord, may our focus remain steadfast on Him! Let us call on the Lord to strengthen us to walk in His ways, and enable us to resist these temptations. Have a blessed day of faithful service today!

Paul writing to the church in second Corinthians chapter 9 finishes out a great message of encouragement with verse 15… “Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!”

This morning it is our privilege, duty and honor to proclaim the gift!

I pray God will bless you as you serve him this morning!

PastorCare never charges a fee for services. It is a purely faith-based, non-profit 501©3 ministry. PastorCare is supported by donations, gifts and a volunteer network of caregivers and service providers. Retired pastors, missionaries and volunteer lay-persons encourage and assist pastors and their families who contact PastorCare. Our goal is to meet the need and revitalize God’s ministering servants to continue the call to serve.

The (2014) PCN website was dedicated to the memory of Rev. G. David Korsen, who gave of his expertise, time and passion to create the first PCN website. He served as Communications Director from March of 2009 until his graduation from this life on April 23, 2013. Dave’s caring heart and infectious laugh were the entry to the deep well of God’s grace that flowed through him — the essence of PastorCare.
