"For most of my 25 years of ministry I couldn't relate to the war stories I would hear from other pastors. Mine had been a pretty easy journey, not too many bumps in the road. But all that changed in the summer of 2004 when I faced my own church crisis which ended with my resigning a long term pastorate. It was that resignation that led me to join the PastorCare staff and ultimately become the director of the ministry. Now days, because of the pain of my own journey, I can relate when I listen to pastors and their spouses share their story. I've been there. I understand. I care. I want to help."
